 Feature of EFP-S2USB 1.1 is Adopted: High speed transfer of user program data is available. By adopting USB 1.1, the speed gets five times or above faster than RS-233C interface maximum rate transfer. *More than 10 times when compared with the speed of EFP-I. EFP-S2 can be operated with USB bus power. If the supply voltage to target MCU is 3.3V or below,it can be used only by USB connecting cable. Expansion of User Buffer RAM Memory User buffer RAM memory has been expanded to 4M bytes. It is provided with buffer RAM memory equivalent to eight times of EFP-I, and it is ready to accommodate with coming MCU with built-in flash memory of 1M byte or above. As Many As 80 Or Above Types of MCU Unit for EFP-I Can Be Used for EFP-S2 There are 80 or above types of MCU unit, and it is compliant with Renesas Electronics 4/8/16/32bit MCU. It is possible to make use of MCU unit for EFP-I by using EF1CNT-96P. It flexibly complies with variety of MCU model expansion.
